Here are two great 1980 aerial views of the Old Orchard Shopping Center. The above shot is from the south at Golf Road facing north. Montgomery Ward is the large anchor store on the end nearest us.

In the movie "Ordinary People" there are several mall scenes with Mary Tyler Moore, could have been this mall as I think it was filmed here.
Yea it was filmed around Chicago, but I really can't remember if they used Old Orcahrd. Something tells me no. It may have been a different mall.
