This was not the cool mall to go to when I was a kid, this was the mall for old people. There was a store called Rutlands that took up half the mall and sold mens clothing, boring mens clothing. Rutlands was where you went to buy Grand Slam and Izod golf shirts long before they were hip and going for $80. They tore it down but not sure what replaced it. Anyone know?
It kind of reminds me of Crossroads Mall in Roanoke Va, but the clerstories are on both sides in this mall, and the colonial coach lamps are a neat touch.

Yes cora you are right, no one under 50 thats for sure. There was an awesome retro 50's diner behind this place called Ronnies that also bit the dust but lots of postcards of it on Ebay. Another tidbit, this was Orlandos first shopping mall.
