Moorestown Mall

Moorestown, New Jersey - 1960's

Futuristic interior shot of the beautiful archway from the main entrance, through the Center Court, and on into the main mall proper at Moorestown Mall. Here's their current website.

I wonder if the architect was inspired by Frank Lloyd Wright?

What a gorgeous picture! Many memories of those arches. A large portion of the Moorestown Mall burned back in 1992 or 1993, just before Christmas. It's since been completely rebuilt and is thriving, but what a blast from the past!!

Makes me wish Toledo had a mall that had opened before '69 with this sort of concept!

I was one of two assistant managers of the Woolworths store back in 1976-1977. The biggest memories I have of Moorestown Mall were the thick, heavy smell of burnt cinnamon and Billy Joels new release "The Stranger".
