Fort Saginaw Mall


Saginaw, Michigan - circa late '60s

Alberts clothing store is just visible on the left, and a fountain in the foreground, here in the retrolicious center court of the old Fort Saginaw Mall! Though this mall may be no more, for those Michiganders who knew and loved it back in the day, the memories will live on forever.

  2. It looks like in the original photo the walls were an earthy/ochre/reddish tone. Might be totally incorrect though. Cool shot anyway-

  3. Notice that it isn't just a fountain? Ever been in a Rainforest Cafe? Yeah... Look at what, at first, looks like wall patterns: it's rain falling into the trough! The trough has some sort of matting in it to curb splash...
