Retro Mall Video: Fox Valley Center (aka Westfield Fox Valley)
1983 Fox Valley Center TV spot
A wacky 1983 Chicago television commercial for the Fox Valley Center mall (aka Westfield Fox Valley), in Aurora, Illinois--using generic Muppet-like local puppet talent.
The mall's current anchor stores are: Carson Pirie Scott (originally a Lord & Taylor), JCPenney, Macy's and Sears.
Mall history: 1975 - present

Hilarious! It's funny just how much advertising sensibilities have changed since the 80's and earlier. I wonder if those were actual muppet characters?
Awe... I was really hoping to see that George Hamilton commercial continue too. Oh well.
LOL! Muppets. George Hamilton. This stuff is great!
Does the Fox valley Mall still look like it did 24 years ago? Never been there but I have to go one of these days.
I think that link is missing now. you can find it here

Contrary to what is thought here, they are Muppets with a blue screen. They create the commercial likely in New York or LA - they never actually visited the site. Extra revenue via commercial for generic Muppets. 2017 I have seen the Muppets doing commercials for the Chrysler Pacifica with well known Muppets.
It still is on You Tube, some reason access by this website direct is not allowed per TOS of You Tube.
