Southdale Center Mall

Edina, Minnesota - circa 1960s

Yet another colorful perspective and view of the warm and inviting Garden Court, in the Southdale Center shopping mall back in its more vintage days. This is a companion photo to the last Southdale one I also posted recently. I believe it dates to around the 1960s.

Man, the past rocks, doesn't it?

Beautiful picture. With the other, you can really make out the ceiling details, the wall coverings, and so on. Oh-so Fifties, early-Sixties in the best sense. Love it!

Great picture! Notice that this mall was not all cluttered up with the kiosks that are ruining the present day mall experience.
