Reminds me of what these places used to look like before more suburban/urban development kicks in.
Keith, I think White Lakes opened in 1965, rather than 1960. It was very far south of downtown Topeka (probably 5 miles), on South Topeka Blvd.
Actually White Lakes opened in 1964.
