Malls of America on TV

Monday, June 27, 2005 (G4 TV)

For anyone out there who missed it the first time I mentioned this (probably most of you), here's the clip of Malls of America being featured as a "Gem of the Internet" on the popular Attack of the Show program on G4 TV last summer, soon after my launch of it. Thought you guys might dig seeing it.

Note: The above video is in FLASH format, so make sure you have that enabled to see it.

  1. Really Chris? Working fine for me. What seems to be the problem?

I will say that some people may have to retry it at different times (especially if on dialup), since YouTube has just been god-awful slow lately! For me anyway. They've been down a few times for me. And I know they've been doing some tweaking and updates the past few days as well, so maybe you just caught it in a bad moment (I hope)?

Let me know if you try it again, and what kind of problem it's giving you. Is it working for anyone else out there?

  3. Uh, yeah, by borked you ARE saying it's not working for you, right? I can't keep up with you crazy kids and yer fancy terms these days. :)

But I just tweaked the code a bit and am wondering if that fixes it--if you're saying it's broked--borked. Heh.

  5. If you continue to have problems with YouTube, I recommend Google Video. I use it for my videos and find their service better than YouTube.

  6. I wouldn't have left you hanging dude! And I'm even a girl! I am self-proclaimed mall junkie and I love your blog. Find some late 70's/eatly 80's pics of Regency Square in Jacksonville, FL for me, please! It was my "training facility", if you will. : D

  7. Needless to say I was happy you got your blog on that show. Hopefully they weren't being too mean-spirited on critiquing it. Too often this channe is more devoted to the Y-gen's sensitivies, and care nothing for what the Baby Boomer/X-gen had to be happy with. They once critique another blog I go to not really sure what it was all about but said some stuff about it. if they had a chance to see my blog, they'd probably wouldn't know what to do with it!

As an update, G4 will be making a lot of sweeping changes this year, such as the inclusion of "Star Trek; TNG", pratically removing most of it's video game shows in the progress, probably resulting in something they'll have to rename themselvs as "Spike II" once their through.

At least they didn't make a dung-flinging joke about the monkey cage. Seems too obvious a gag to throw in whenever talking about monkeys/apes in those environments.
