Stonestown Shopping Center (aka Stonestown Galleria)
San Francisco, California - circa 1950s
Swanky '50s postcard photo of the Stonestown Shopping Center (now Stonestown Galleria) in San Francisco, California. Lots of vintage store signage on display in this shot, including Walgreens, JM (was this the clothing store?), and The Emporium department store (with the distinctive "E" logo) in the background.

That's the Stonestown I remember! JM was Joseph Magnin, a very trendy San Francisco-based clothing store for women (some of their stores has a small mens department). Our family spent many a Saturday at Stonestown back then (of course, it was closed on Sundays). If we were good kids, after shopping we got rewarded with sundaes at Blum's.
BTW: That isn't a Save-On Drugs (that was a Southern California chain). It's Walgreen's, with the promotional sign Save On Drugs)
The Emporium is now Macy's (still looks vintage inside and out, despite the rest of the mall being modern now), and Macy's still uses that sign tower. Border's is where Walgreen's used to be.
Ahem, it's pretty obviously Walgreens, considering their logo is clearly visible above the entrance of the store.
And I love the Emporium Logo.
Cora: on the Walgreens thing, Paul was just pointing out something I have since corrected in the original post (thanks Paul!). I forgot to add an edit notice there. Sorry for the confusion.
