WOW! I lived in Atlanta for almost 20 years and I knew that Lenox started out as an outdoor mall. Looks pretty average for the times. It's pretty upscale now. Lots of designer couture shops and eateries. This one is a real treat for your "Day after Thanksgiving" shopping. What a great picture and a great foreshadowing of what she evolved into. It's all enclosed now and three levels in some parts.

I have lived in Atlanta for almost 50 years and grew up shopping at Lenox Square. Our shopping trips always ended by climbing on the Bre'r Bear cement sculptures. We even used to buy baby chicks every Easter at the pet store that was there for years. It may not look special now - but it was a really outstanding mall even then.
